SGM Wolf Headstone

"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
Footprints in the Sand by Mary Steverson.

SGM Wolf was survived by his wife Mary Lee,
six children and several grandchildren. His office was
adorned with family and wolf pictures and memorabilia.
In the early days of the Youth ChalleNGe program,
he becomes known as El Lobo Grande (ELG),
The Great Wolf.

International Wolf Center
The International Wolf Center advances the survival of
wolf populations by teaching about wolves, their
relationship to wild lands and the human role in their future.
